We are a new group devoted to screening independent feature films and documentaries about international social and political issues.
NomadsLand.com is an online destination for social issue media. (http://nomadsland.com...)
Since the beginning of 2007, the social enterprise has been hosting film screenings in Washington D.C. for global filmmakers. Our films have addressed the crisis in Darfur, the Iraq War, Latino immigration, same-sex marriage and experimental drug use. Each screening consists of an independent feature film and 30-minute roundtable discussion.

Now, along with meetup.com it wants to build a ?virtual theater network? by starting a NomadsLand chapter in your city. This local group needs to have 200 members and then we will appoint assistant organizers to help us find a venue and plan a screening calendar. Co-organizers will be financially rewarded for maintaining the group.
