I would like to invite you to be in at the beginning of something special.

Casting Nation.

This is a brand new website that will create a nationwide database for
actors by actors. Our target audience is anyone who wants to be a
part of the entertainment industry. We are going to cover everything
from featured roles to extras, modeling, really anything that’s
industry related. Obviously, we want the work to be paid, but we will
also feature student work, deferred pay indie projects, etc

Just so you know, I was working with this same concept for another
company which I ended up quitting because I felt they were exploiting
actors in the worst possible way. But while I was there my staff and
I built relationships with a lot of casting directors for shows shot
on location like Burn Notice, Lost and Prison Break. We also worked
with movies like Dark Knight, Revolution Road and the Great Debaters.
This same staff is also helping me build this site.

Now, I realize that there are already a few very fine on line
databases out there. However, these good ones are all ‘local’ as they
serve primarily the NY and LA markets. We’ll serve those markets as
well.

But the industry has changes a lot in the last few years. Several
states have passed very aggressive programs to bring Film/TV
production to their states. Places like New Mexico have even helped
to build major new studio facilities. The very nature of internet and
camera technology means you can produce anything you want in almost
any location. And those local projects need talent.

Our overall goal is to create a ‘one stop’ nationwide casting site
with very high profile.
