This is a meetup for liberal thinkers that happen to like film and also like to cook, or have a partner that likes to cook, or can cut up a watermelon. The film selections will range from movies staring big name actors to esoteric art films, documentaries, and foreign films.  We tend to choose movies that have a broad base of good reviews and hopefully each film will stimulate our thinking and provoke conversation. A meetup and movie night for everyone. Doors will open at six thirty and movie starts at seven. Every week we will watch and discuss a different movie or documentary on current political and economic issues, social awareness, environment or history.
